The Big Orange Bridge, otherwise known as B.O.B., was open for travel on November 7th 1957. During its construction there were many divers who made a living by picking up the dropped tools and selling them back to the construction workers. To this day the Villa Motel has accommodated scuba divers who insist there is a whole other world underneath it. B.O.B. has sidewalks on both sides and features one of the best views of Nelson.
